Hello,

I'm looking for some marriage information. I know it's somewhere between Chezzetcook and Halifax.

Christ Church (Anglican), Dartmouth
St. John’s (Anglican), Preston
Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg
Dutch Reformed Church, Lunenburg
St. Peter's and St. Mary's (Catholic), Halifax

Could you help me ?

When and where they get married ?

1- Jean Lejeune (John Young) and Scholastique-Christiana Nagle (around 1818)
2- John De Young and Ann Barbara Borgal (around 1814)
3- Frederick Young and Elizabeth Bayers (around 1843)

Informations I have on them...

On Jean Lejeune, called John Young, married to Scholastique-Christiana NAGLE (same girl according to Eastern Shore Genealogies by Robert Kim Stevens). Their son James get baptized in 1820 at St-Peter's of Halifax. The parents of John Young lived in Chezzetcook. In the 1827 Census, John lived at Petpeswick. The parents of Christiana Nagle lived in Eastern Passage.

On John De Young, married to Ann Barbara Borgal. Their son James get baptized in 1814 at St-Peter's of Halifax. The brothers and sister of this John lived in Eastern Passage and Cow Bay. I found last week a Barbara Bargelt (John + Magdalene Naas) baptized the 4 May 1794, at Dutch Reformed
Church of Lunenburg. But I'm not sure that is her...

Based on the work of Father Melanson (Chezzetcook genealogy), Frederick Young and Elizabeth Bayers get married the 10 November 1843, but he didn't tell where... He died at Petpeswick, in 1906. On the Father Melanson too, Frederick Young get married another time, with
Eliza Sophie GREENOUGH {GRENON} (Joseph and Julia Bayer), but he didn't tell when and where.

Thanks for your precious help,
Andre
