There is no mention in Jacob Leiter's will (name spelled Lyder) that was probated 22 February 1764 in Washington County, Maryland of an Elizabeth or any Bell, if she had predeceased him should could not be the mother of the Bell children. And even in "The History of Leitersburg", she is not listed amongst the children:
"Here he died in February, 1764, leaving a widow, Elizabeth, who was his second wife, and seven children, viz.: John; Christian; Abraham; Jacob; Peter; Barbra, and Anna, wife of Peter Good. One daughter, Fronika, died before her father, leaving two children."
Again Herbert Bell's work seems wrong, as Fronika could not likely have been born before 1750, it doesn't seem possible she could have left two children by 1764.
The only possibility I see for Peter Bell to have married an Elizabeth Leiter would be the widow of Jacob>
