Is there anyone out there who can connect to the following families from Scotland - ANDERSON & LEITCH????? Or even give me any more info than what I show here.
Info comes from the IGI and 1881 Census readings - I am especially interested in the Wagg connection - finding out where Ann Wagg, Andrew Anderson’s wife comes from (her parents & siblings) as I believe her to be a sister of my Great Great Grandfather, James Wagg who I have not been able
to trace. He was married to a Mary Conway and lived in Armitage, Staffordshire. James & Mary had several children, 3 of whom I have found were born in Glasgow. So there is a couple Scottish connections to these Wagg’s. I believe the “Selina Wagg” listed below is my Great Grandmother, Gertrude
Selina Wagg, born 30 October 1872 Armitage, Stafford, England. There is some discrepancy about her birthdate and age - wherever I have managed to find her (Census, immigration, etc.) her age seems to be listed + or - 2 years of her known birthdate (usually younger?) which is why I think this may her.
