I have not checked this particular message board in a long time, so I was suprised to find your inquiry about the Leismans, since this family surname is rather unique and not well known.

My grandmother was Clara Leisman, who was Otto Leisman's sister. She married Alexander C. D'Albini in Bisbee, AZ in 1905, and lived the remainder of her life in that area of Southern Arizona. My mother was her daughter.

I have to assume that Otto and his wife Clara may have been visiting his sister in Bisbee, and decided to stay a while, since I know Clara and Alex had been there for many years by 1920.

Both she and Otto came from Texas. I have some additional information about their parents, siblings, etc. that I can share with you if you are interested.
