Leightons in USA

I am researching the Leighton Family from North East England in mid 1700's - because they were mainly seafarers
they spread to most ports in the Uk. They have an unusual
given name of Orren or Oren or Orin usually prefixed by the name Ralph i.e. Ralph Orren Leighton.
I have traced quite aa lot of Orren Leightons in USA and would be grateful of any help please
