We have posted on the LEE forum without much result so--
Searching for a family that connects to our, Elisha Beall/Beal LEE/LEIGH. Born in VA, we think, in 1797 and dies in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. He marries four times but, first wife was Maryanne WOODYARD who dies in OH. Their daughter Susan Lee is my line. She is born in OH and also dies in Des Moines Iowa. Elisha's father appears to be Joseph LEE/LEIGH and mother is Winifred perhaps Beall or perhaps her mothers maiden name. Elisha's first born son is named Richard.If anyone has a connection to a Beal and Lee family I would like to hear from you. We have had no luck in finding any connection and feel this may be the key that needs to be turned to get back in this family. Thanks for any help that comes our way!
