Thanks for that information. Have you been to Camel Hump Cemetery? Can you give directions? Do you have the actual marriage certificate of AJ's 4th marriage? I was operating under the assumption that his parents were Amos Leigh and Elizabeth Thompson of Mecklenburg county, Va. I have not been able to find a record of that marriage though.
I would never have thought of Steven as the "Amos" name runs through all the generations and not once is the name "Steven" reused. Can we exchange more information?
