William married Isabella Gorton
their children were born in stockport

Martha bn 1859
Robert William bn 1862
Mary Emma bn 1864
Edwin Leigh bn 1872
Edwin leigh died on duty 9/jun/1921, he was a Police Seageant
He married Emma Royle,
Their children were

James William bn mar 1900 Stockport
Edward bn 1902 Stockport
James William Leigh married Lily Brierley 19/jun/1926 St. Philips,Ancoats,Manchester
They had 2 children
