Looks like I'm the first here, I hope many soon will follow. Seeking information on Henry Leichleiter (sometimes spelled Leichleitner / Lechleiter, etc. Born April 9, 1873 (tombstone) in Illinois (1910 census) died Aug. 28, 1926 (tombstone) in Hall Co, NE. Living in Victor, Nuckolls Co, NE on the 1910 and 1920 Census with wife Anna (Remmenga)born Holland. Henry and Anna married around 1902 (census)probably in Nuckolls Co or Hall Co, NE. Found Anna Remmenga on the 1900 census of Nuckolls, she was single and working as a servant in the home of the Wehemen family. Henry and Anna had children from abt 1904 to 1924, probably in Hall County. Charles, Frank, Bernard/Benjamin, Threse, Anna, Anton, Stephen, Clara, Willis, Agnes and Rita.

Henry's censuses show both parents from Germany. Can't find him anywhere on the 1900 census. Found on the 1880 census one who may be him, in Logan Co, Illinois. In the household of Martin and Wila LEIGHLIDER. Martin and Wila both born Germany. Children Joseph, Henry (age 4) and Katrina.

Please if anyone is connected to this family, reply here and email
Thanks, Dan
