Yeah. most of the information you gave is the same that I have.It has been said that John Peter Lehr lived in Arkansas for a time. His first wife, Emily Carter gave him one daughter name Lily and it is thought they had a son who died at a very young age. After Emily's death, John Peter ("JP") and the daughter relocated to Cowan, TN where he met a mixed blood Cherokee woman named Peggy "Margaret" Prince. They had two sons, Earl, who died in a train wreck in 1917, and Carl (my maternal grand dad's father). Peggy died when Carl was two years old. John Peter at some time later, later moved to a small town Gruelty (spl?)-Laager, TN where he was known to work at a rail road yard where he would fill the water tanks of steam locomotives. And lived there until his passing.
