Looking for information on Theodor Lehmann who came to New York city before 1869. He married in 1869 Mathida Huttenlocher and had two children Theodore and Louisa. Theodor Sr. is believed to be the son of Gottleib Lehmann and his wife Louisa Schmidt. They were of Prussia and may have been from Memel (now Klaipeda, Luthiania), but this is not proven.
Theodor Lehamann ran a beer hall in New York. His son Theodore ran a butcher shop in Brooklyn.
