My g.g. grandfather Gotfried Lehmann and his wife Anna Elisabeth (nee Irmler) and 6 children migrated to South Australia from Posen Prussia on the ship "Skjold" in 1841.
Gottfried was born on 22 Feb 1797 in Sawade, Silesia and Anna Elisabeth was born in 1805. They were married in Sawade, Silesia in 1827.
I am trying to go further back in history and find out about their families in Prussia. Does anyone have any information that would help?
