Hi, I am a descendant of this family group, my fathers name is John Edward Charles, born in Wollongong & my grandfather was Percy Lehmann of South Australia. My grandfather was a direct descendant of the family from germany. There is much family history recorded in many Family Reunion Books. I had attended many family reuions in south australia as a child but sadly have not been active in the function of late. I have only a few known family members I am personlally in contact with. There is a Colin Lehmann who lived in Cobar NSW on a property called Buckambool. He has recently sold the property & dont know were he is. My Grandfather died in 1982, but had brothers in South Australia, names were Ollie, Stan......but sadly they have passed now too. They were descendants of a Frederick Lehmann who had many properties in South Australia. My Grandfather worked a propert at Pinaroo in South Australia, left there Travelled to Sydney become a saleman, met a Joan Bevitt of Wollongong & Married & served several years in Borneo/Malaysia during WWII. He Returned from war purchased a property on the Monaro/Snowy Mountains named Creawah & raised my father & uncle & 2 adopted children. Later moved to Tantawanglo from were he owned & run a School Bus service from Candelo to Bega & later bought another property named Millingandi on the Saphhire Coast of NSW. My father & uncle still own this property today. The family continued to run the school buses up until recent years. My uncle owns a business in Bega & my father has retired due to illness from his service days in Borneo/Malyasia during the mid 60's as a NATIO.
