Great News for you and Pam,

I received an email today of a German researcher, Erich Herzberg, who has family that lived in Alt-Reetz, Kreis Königsberg, and has a brother currently living there.

Anyway he is going to take a look in the churchbook records for Alt-Reetz and area, possibly including Alt-Ruednitz. He has done this already for his family, so he knows some of the records are there. The archives are located at Neu-Litzegoericke (Neulitzegoericke).

So send a few prayers over to him.

P.S. Whenever you see the umlaut, or double dot, over any letter in German, then just add an e to it for the English equivalent.

Examples:
Königsberg = Koenigsberg in English
Alt Rüdnitz = Alt Ruednitz in English
