It just clicked, and you are the Pam that Lee Ann Heiden was talking about. Sorry I didn't recognize you from before.

Anyway how certain are you that Johann Lehmann of Alt Rüdnitz was married in Liegnitz, of old Schlesien, Prussia? The reason I ask is because those towns are about 350 km apart. What is you source?

Could they have married at Alt Lietzegoericke which is down a few miles on the Oder River from Alt Rüdnitz? This is the place that the reply from George was talking about with his Daniel Lehmann (b1785 in Alt-Litz Goernicke, d. 1857 in Hustiford.)

So could Liegnitz be Lietzeg?
