Nicholas Lehman, b. 22 December1678 at Signau, Canton Bern, Switzerland. He married Anna Ruffenacht, b. 25 November 1683 at Eggiwil, Canton Bern. They baptized at least five children at Signau bet.1707 and 1716. They then relocated to Limbach, Eschweilerhof, Germany where the line continues as follows: 3. Peter Leeman, b. November 1725 in Limbach, Eschweilerhof, Germany ..4. Georg Lehmann, b. 1750 in Limbach .5. Daniel Lehmann, b. 1779 in Limbach 6. Daniel Lehmann, b. 1811 in Limbach ..7. The person who came over is probly our first generation US ancestor. They probably landed in PA and had a son named Levi b 1775, who moved to VA then Monroe CO TN.
