Hermann Karl Lehmann born 9/1/1856 in Germany. In approximately 1882-1883, he married Bertha Dahmrod/Dammrod (nee Weisner). Her husband had died and she had two children, Paul Frederick born 4/14/81 and Otto, born 1882. Hermann & Bertha had a child Elisie in Feb 1884. They emigrated to America in 1884, and wound up in Rochester, Minnesota. Hermann's brother Albert August Lehman (born 9/1861) also came to America and lived in Rochester, Minnesota.

Paul Frederick Lehmann (originally Dahmrod/Dammrod) was my grandfather.
