Mobile had changed from a French Colony at the end of 1763, and during the late summer of 1764, British troops arrived to take over the military post at Mobile.
Michael fought in the Creek Wars of 1812.
Michael also had a trading post on the Natchez Trace.He was three miles from Frenchman's Camp.
