Hello

I just ran across this post from 2005. I believe the following marriage entry is the marriage of my great-great grandparents:

LEFFLER, Caroline m. MOYER, Jacob 12/12/1837

Does anyone know whether the original marriage record would likely still exist and if so where I should look? I read elsewhere that it would be in the Fairfield County probate court. If so, can I contact the court and would the be able to look for it and copy it? I'm located in California so am not nearby.

Assuming this is the correct couple, I know where they are buried (Riverside Cemetery, Franklin County, Ohio). Their names on their tombstone are Caroline Loeffler and Jacob Myers. I also have information on both of their families going back to where they're from in Germany, including copies of church records from Germany, and information on their emigration from Wurttemburg, Germany.

Thank you,

David Myers
