John,
I don't have a lot on Nancy, but this is what I have in her file. I haven't done a thorough search for her since she's really not part of my family, but have found bits and pieces on the Lefflers while trying to figure out information on Martha J.
1860 Census, Deer Creek Twp., Bates Co. MO
Near Jacob Leffler, A.H. Robinson and James Spaw)is:
Nancy Kenian 33 100 IN
Mary 8 IL
James 5 IL
Nancy is named as an heir in Jacob Leffler's estate -1895, listed as living in Bates Co.
I didn't not find her listed in 1980 Bates cemetery book.
Hope this will help--notice the spelling of the name--possibly explains why I haven't found much?--Kathy
