Hi Linda,
I’ve only been at the genealogy stuff for a short while and here you are to confirm a blank spot I’ve been fighting!
I am a descendant of (7.) Elizabeth Ann (also Betsy or Betsey) Leffel and James Lewis Reynolds (b. 7 May 1818 Botetourt, VA, d. 7 April 1880 Botetourt, VA, married 22 October 1839, Botetourt, VA ). They had 11 children: 1. Virginia E Reynolds (1841- ) 2. Sarah Ann Reynolds (1843- ) 3. George William Reynolds (1844-1923) 4. Flavius Milton Reynolds (1847- ) 5. Lewis Edward Reynolds (1849- ) 6. Mary Ann (Mollie) Reynolds (1850-1929) 7. Julia H. Reynolds (1853- ) 8. Amelia A. Reynolds (1854- )9. Demarius E. Reynolds (1856- ) 10. Nancy Luella Reynolds (1860- ) & 11. Josephine Martha Reynolds (1862-1932).
6. Mary Ann (Mollie) is my gggrandmother. In 1872, she married John Wesley Hoback (b.1845 VA d.1885 NE). They had 8 children: 1. Jennie Hoback (1873- ) 2. Edna Hoback (1874- ) 3. Lewis Hoback (1875- ) 4. Will Hoback (1876- ) 5. Josie Hoback (1878- ) 6. Lester Hoback (1882-1968) 7. Alice Hoback (1883- ) & 8. Nettie Louise Hoback (1884 - 1934).
6. Lester Hoback is my ggrandfather. He married Lena Etta Williams (1886 NE -1965 NE) They had four children, including my Grandma, Doris Jean, b. 1918 NE and thankfully still living in Denver, CO. The other 3 daughters I will have info on after the holidays. I am doing Grandma’s tree for her for Christmas and can’t very well call her up now and ask.
I have further info on many of these people (including more on my living family) and would be happy to share. If you have better dates on Elizabeth Ann Leffel, I would love it if you could pass them my way.
