Looking for any family History and Genealogy on the Le Fevre family.(Several spelling's) They came from Poss. Canada to Prairie du Rocher,Illinois late 1700's.Were in the group of French people who settled the town of Portage des Sioux, Mo. with Francois Saucier. Augustin LeFevre received a Land Commissioners Certificate in Portage des Sioux,Mo. 22 Aug. 1811. The family descendents have lived in the Portage area since ca 1800. Any suggestions appreciated.
