For the benefit of the forum: I am descended from Abraham Lefevre/Lefeber>Johannes>Isaac>John>Philip>John>Daniel> Alonzo>Eva. My info is posted on RootsWeb pld07 "Peterson, Lefeber, Lett, Davis, Berry, Patterson and Related Families." What is your line of descent? Do you have any primary sources on Abraham, his children or parents, or Philip and his father John? or is your info gleaned from others' work? Most of mine I learned from others' postings then supported with primary sources when I could find them. For example: http://www.libraries.psu.edu/do/digitalbookshelf/30866757/30866757.part_14.pdf Sketches of Upper and Lower Milford Residents By CHARLES R. ROBERTS On October 5, 1710, Joseph Pennock and his wife Mary, of Marlborough Township, Philadelphia County, sold to Abraham Le Feber a tract of 500 acres of land. Unfortunately, four pages of the record book giving the greater part of the deed are missing. However, on June 6, 1720, Abraham Lefeber of the reputed township of New Bristol in the County of Philadelphia, yeoman, and Mary, his wife, sold to Lorentz Switzer, of the same place, forfourteen pounds, 100 acres, a part of this 500 acre tract, which recites the title from William Penn on March 23, 1681, of 5,000 acres to George and Frances Rogers, then to George Collet, who by his will, November 28, 1690, bequeathed the same to-his two grandsons, Nathaniel and Joseph Pennock. Nathaniel died intestate. In 1713, Abraham Lefevre's name appears as a signer and a resident of Skippack and adjoining plantations, in a petition dated June 2nd, for a road to "Wide Marsh," Whitemarsh, or Farmer's Mill. Abraham Lefever's will reads as follows: "I, Abraham Lefever, of Skepack, in the County of Philadelphia, yeoman, give and bequeath unto my son, Johannes Lefever all and singular my real and personal estate. I give and bequeath unto my oldest daughter in law, Catharine Switser, one English shilling, and to my youngest daughter in law, Elizabeth Wink, likewise one English shilling. All the rest and residue of my estate I bequeath to my son Johannes and my son Johannes is to be the sole Executor. Signed, Tenth of March, 1729/30. Abraham Lefever, his mark." Probated July 2, 1733. This proves that Abraham Lefever died in 1733 and was the father of John. John Lefebre was naturalized in 1729. In 1734 he was taxed in Worcester Township, Philadelphia County. He was one of the founders of Wentz's Church and one of his daughters is buried there. In 1728 he was an elder of the Reformed church at Skippack.
