I have been trying without success to find my great-great grand-father on my mother's side for two years.
My mother: Eva Lefebvre married G.E.Tremblay in Woonsocket RI, 26 Oct 1925
Her father: Joseph Vital Lefebvre married Marie Levesque in Providence RI,3 Oct 1882
His father: Vital Lefebvre married Lucie-Philomene Desrochers maybe in Platsburg NY before 1863
Vital and Lucie-Philomene's children are:
Lucie (or Lusia) Lefebvre, born 1863 in Platsburg NY
Alphonsine Lefebvre, born 27 Dec 1864 in St-Louis de Gonzague, Beauharnois, Qc, Canada
Joseph Vital, (my grand-father) born 17 Nov 1866 in St-Louis de Gonzague
Marie Lefebvre, (my grand-father's twin sister) born 17 Nov 1866 in St-Louis de Gonzague.
Marguerite Lefebvre, born about 1872
Wilfrid Lefebvre, born about 1877
and Edmar Lefebvre, born about 1879
According to the 1881 Canadian census, Vital and Licie-Philomene lived with their 7 children in St-Anicet, Huntingdon, Qc, Canada.
Can anyone help me find out who my great-grand-father Vital Lefebvre's parents are?
