After posting my original message, it turns out that I don't really know if Father LeFebvre at SS Peter and Paul's was related to my LeFebvre family or not. As in my original message, my relationship to the LeFebvres was that my g-g-aunt, Martha Maturen, married Moses LeFebvre in Saginaw around 1860. I've since found out most of the information about their 11 or 12 children and a number of their descendants. There was a priest among their children, but his name was Moses and he was in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Three of their other sons, Edward, Andrew and Bertran went to Grand Rapids, Minnesota, following the logging industry. Most of the others ended up in Oregon, including Martha, who died there in 1943. Are you related to this family at all? If so, I'll be happy to share the information I have.
