My ancestor was a logger, too, in Oscoda, MI. He was Hyacinthe Jesse Lefebvre and he and his family were burned out around 1911 when they moved to Detroit, MI. He had been from Montreal, Canada or Riguad which is near Montreal, originally. Ring any bells?
