Allen Leeper Diary
Posted by: Stewart Ewing (ID *****4039) Date: September 08, 2009 at 11:54:17

All, I have heard of various references to an "Allen Leeper Diary" from various sources, most notably Laura Dingle Ewing's book on her family history. It is oft cited in Leeper genealogy sites as well. However, I have struggled to find a copy or transcription other than the short section cited by Ms. Ewing. Does the diary exist still? Where can I view its complete contents? I know that it tells the story of Allen Leeper and several others from Georgia to Cumberland County Pennsylvania and back, and I know of the citing of Ms. Ewing, but I'm anxious to see more about this trip. Can someone put me on the right path? Please email me directly if possible with any details. Thanks!
