My gggrandfather Gion/Guion Leeper Brown b.9 Apr 1833 AL (according to census) and d.9 Jan 1908 Lynn Co, TX married 1st Nancy Cameron about 1855. She was on the 1850 Centre, Cherokee Co,AL census and they were both on the 1860 Tidwell Creek, Hunt Co, TX census. Nancy died and G L married Sarah Ann Triplett 22 Oct 1863 at her fathers house in Fannin Co, TX. I have not found G L in 1850. I believe his mother was Mary lst name unknown and his father died before 1850 census so we do not know his name. Mary next married Franklin Milstead probably about 1845. Mary and Franklin Milstead have not been found in 1850 or 1860, but her daughter Laura Brown Williams was in Pineflat, Autauga Co AL. I want to know which Brown and Leeper line this is. I know Leeper must be a mother or grandmothers maiden name. Do you think it is Gawen Leeper?
