I am collecting all know coats of arms for Leeming, Leaming, Leming, Lemyng, Lemynge etc, for use in a book and to sort out sources of surnames. If you have something to add please contact me. One know tree of the Lemings, Lemyngs of Pickering goes back to 1120 AD. Another Lemyng of Burneston sold their Manor around 1640 in what is now called Leeming. Christopher Lemyng, Leaming sailed into Boston in 1670 and his decendants are all around Cape May New Jersey. Any pre 1700 information will be shared.
