I have recently come across some information on wills in Barbados refering to Richard Lee of Virginia who left family in Barbados around 1639 for Virginia. I also have a copy of a will probated (1639/40) in England for a Henry Lee which lists several children including John (father of the Richard who went to Virginia), Richard, Robert, George, Philip, and others. This Henry was living in the same parish in England as mentioned in the will of one of his son's in Barbados.
Has anybody come across this information before?
The Lee family is not one of my lines, but it looks like this family would tie into the family of Robert E Lee of Virginia. I would be willing to share copies of the information I have found.
