DNA testing has unraveled some mysteries in our family that I have worked on for 40 years. However,I am so confused about DNA to start with and do not understand these groups you mention. The DNA for my family is on Ancestry, which I find very hard to understand the site. We are a haplo group R1B, where does that fit in with your two groups? Thank you.
