We have done the Lee DNA for ancestry and would like to know if anyone is related to or knows of our family we descend from William Henry Lee b. 1740 ?Maryland, d. 1828 Ohio County, KY, he m. Margaret Atherton 1760 she was b 1742 d abt 1781 Nelson County VA/KY, their son David Lee b Jan 27, 1766 ?NJ d Jan 10, 1852 Franklin County, IN he m Mary Ann Osborn July 11, 1785 Barnett's Station, Nelson County, KY she was b 1764, d Dec 8, 1857 Franklin County, IN, David Lee has a Rev War marker on his grave, he served in many of the Indian Wars and possibly on the Clark Expedition, their son Joseph Lee was b Mar 8, 1796 Nelson County, KY d Oct 1862 Cape Girardeau County, MO m Frances Hutchison 1821 Hamilton County, OH, Joseph and Frances came to Cape Girardeau about 1841 which is about the time Frances died, their son, Joseph Lee b 1834 Franklin County, IN d 1877 Cape Girardeau County, MO he m. Sarah Frances Dickerson Dec 5, 1853 Cape Girardeau, MO she was b 1838 TN d 1891 Oran, Cape Girardeau, MO on the lot Joseph Lee received for serving in the Union Army during the Civil War, their son George Washington Lee b 1859 Cape Girardeau, MO d 1901 Cape Girardeau County, MO he m Mary Jane Shipman May 27, 1892 Marble Hill, Bollinger County, MO she was b Sept 6, 1862 MO d Dec 27, 1925 Bollinger County, MO, their son George Robert Lee b Oct 31, 1895 Randles, Cape Girardeau or Scott County, MO d Dec 20, 1980 Poplar Bluff Veteran's Hospital, Butler County, MO m Beulah Davis Jan 4, 1922 New Madrid, MO she was b Nov 14, 1904 Darden, TN d July 20, 1997 Cape Girardeau, MO
