In the last few years there has been a great deal of DNA testing of the desendents of the Lee familes of Madison and Plulaski Co Ky. First, none of the tested families are related to the Robert E Lee family.( As a general statement, if any male Lee offers to bet you he is desended from Robert E Lee,take the bet,the odds are 100 to one he is not).
The Thomas Lee mentioned below(my ancestor)never owned the Ohio Company or much of anything else. Richard Lee is Thomas's brother,George is Thomas's brother-in-law and cousin. Peter Lee is Thomas's son.These Lees came from Buckingham Co Va. They left Buckingham Co in the 1770s,stopped in Washington Co Va and Green Co Tn before arriving in Ky in the early 1790s.
Willam and Drewry(Drury)seems to be closly related to the others ,but we have no DNA data for them.
