Hi, I have no idea where you live, but I would suggest you checking to see if there is a local Latter Day Saints church near you that has a genealogical library. Their holdings include the largest collection of genealogical records in the world. You will find the people that work within their libraries trained in research and they are more than happy to assist you. If you are worried about the religious aspect of it, as some people tend to be, religion is not discussed. Their main purpose is to assist in helping find records of one's ancestors and they are the best. I would not, however, use their computers as a main source of documentation- anyone can add whatever they would like to them and it is not always accurate. However, often they will point you in the right direction. There is no charge for using their library, however if you would like to see a film, fiche, etc from Utah that is not contained within their local library they do (or at least use to) charge a small fee to have it sent to their library in order that you might view the records and for making copies. There is a listing of their libraries at their website: http//www.familysearch.org You might also find the county courthouse and local historical society in the areas where they lived useful. There are often volunteers working in these areas that are able to provide assistance. Some charge a fee, other's do not. You can often go on-line and do a google search by putting in a person's name, county and state in which they lived and information will often times come up that is housed at various libraries, in books, courthouses, etc. I did check for Uriah and didn't find anything. Were you able to pull down and print out the death certificates for your grandparents. If not let me know, I can mail them to you if you don't already have them.
