I am researching my Richmond aka King George county Lee ancestors. The 1810 King George county census records has 2 Lee households listed a William Lee and a James Lee. According to the St. Paul's Parish Registry, Stafford-King George Counties William Lee was born on Oct. 20, 1744 and his parents listed as John and Sarah Lee. A Bennett Lee was also listed as the son of John and Sarah Lee.
The James Lee (1778-1851)listed in the 1810 King George county census was the son of James Lee (died 1790). This James Lee is in the Lee line I am researching. He married a Mary (Polly) Mohorney (1779-1855). James Lee birth date of 1778 puts his fathers birth date at about 1750 or around the same as William Lee that is listed with his son in the 1810 census. James Lee (1778-1851) first son was named John Lee. This tells me that his father was likely named John Lee.
Does anyone have any info on weather or not the William Lee son of John and Sarah Lee had any other siblings such as a James Lee? I will be visiting King George county Lee archives soon and want to gather as much possible info as possible before I make my trip.
