Your info "noted as clues" is exactly what I've been able to put together just using Census records for King George county. The statement you made saying my line is probably not related to the Lee's of Richmond line gives me hope of a possible relation to the Lee's of Virginia. I say this because I have read many forums saying that the William of the Richmond Lee's is not connected to the Lee's of Virginia. Yes, the book by Caroline Jackson King is on my to get list.
In regards to the "Lees of Virginia society" they made a statement in an email to me that because my Lee line was a Richmond Lee line then it was most likely we were part of the Lee's of Virginia. However, this seems to contradict every thing else I read about William Lee not being connected to the Lees of Virginia. Whats with that statement?
