I'm researching the early families of my hometown of Colton, San Bernardino County, California. James Lee was a wholesale grocer who had the largest business in Colton prior to his death there in 1885. His daughter, Margaret (b. May 1855 IL; par b. ENG/Wales)married his associate who took over the business when he died - Sylvester M. Goddard(b. 1854 NY). Other than the newspaper accounts I have been unable to find family information on either the Goddard or Lee families. A Biography on Goddard provided the link between them. In 1910 they are living with with their only daughter, Bessie (b. Apr 1876 IL) and her husband, George E. Burrell (b. Sept 1864 Wisconsin)There is no information on this branch of the Burrell family. I would appreciate anything anyone knows on any of these families. Thank you!
