Hi, I am part of a group of researchers who are trying to collect info on all the War of 1812 & the Civil War Veteran's of Monroe Co, WI.
I am looking for information on Nathaniel D. Ledyard, . We have his service record but need his birth date, burial, parents, prewar experience, marriage(s) date(s) name of wife(s) parents of wife(s) children's names & residence before the war. He d. September 17, 1863 at Brashear City, LA
It is possible he never married. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
We are fortunate to have funding for our book and can include photos and all letters/diaries, etc. that pertain to the War.
If you have any info on this man please let me know. Pictures, etc would be very welcome.
