Rajna, A "coat of arms" is registered to A PERSON, not a family in general. Each direct line, sons of that person, usually have to certify, register, or apply to display it. And then only with a proven lineage is it granted. It is highly inappropriate for one to locate the arms of another person sharing the same surname, and to simply adopt and use these arms as one's own. This is like impersonating someone else. But, you will find many, many companies that will be happy to sell you "proud, history & heritage of your family name" or some such words. BEWARE!! The study of coats of arms and what they mean is called heraldry. A good source to look into is The American College of Heraldry at <http://www.americancollegeofheraldry.org> they have a real good site. Look it up, great info.
