Merci beaucoup Miss Rosie! I take it you are native to Louisiana then? Do you still speak French? We are attempting to reintroduce it into our family. I am aware of the book by Mr. Thomas and have corresponded with him several times. According to his documentation, we were able to find our family line to Point Coupee Parish and then to Montreal, Quebec and thence to LeMans France. We brought the whole family to France this past March and we had a blast! We passed through LeMans but didn't get to stop and tour the city. We stayed with friends in a rural area between Laval and LeMans France. I would reply in French but my skill level is very low and the grammar would be bad. Since you are probably family, I am including a link to our family photos that we have on the web. We are a Christian family and there is nothing obscene in there. Feel free to look around.
