Hello Kathy,

lovely to hear from you, congratulations you just found a set of relatives!! William and Sarah had 6 children. For some reason I have James as born in 1827, but will need to review the data a bit closer. He had a younger brother Charles from whom my side are descended. I can take you back 3 generations from William. His parents were James b 1761 and Anne (married 1784). James' parents were William b 1721 and Jane and his parents were John who married Sarah Gates in 1715. I can give you more than this, but am short on time at the moment. Will try to put it all in a managable format, may have to post it eventually. Sorry to whet your appetite and not give you the full picture.

Perhaps you could send me your section in due course. I have only just returned to the searching after a break. Returned with vigour to the fray as it is nice to hit gold so soon. Will be in touch. You are allowed to nag me if I am not as quick as you'd like. Just moved house so upside down, will do my best.

Best wishes, David
