The Nicholas mentioned here moved from Maryland to North Carolina with Elder Daniel and a group of Brethren from Pike Creek, MD in 1762 and settled on the Yadkin river south of Winston-Salem. Elder Daniel later returned to Maryland and the Nicholas family still remains in the same general area of North Carolina. I have visited Mattstall and the church in Lembach where the childern were bp. Mattstall is a very small village and no Ledermann's live there now. How can I get a copy of the ship's list showing the names of all the family. Everyone remember it was very common practice to name boys after their uncles.
