Joseph LeCompte was born about 1821 in Dorchester Co., Md. He married Joanna Hurley Feb. 20, 1851 in Dorchester Co., Md. He was in the 1860 and 1870 Dorchester Co., Md. (Vienna Dist.) Censuses. His children were; John, Robert Steel who married Elizabeth (Lizzie) Wall(s), Emily, Ida, Joseph, Susan and Thomas.

Does anyone know who his parents were? A greataunt told me his father is Joseph and the line goes back to Anthony. Any help would be appreciated.
