the vaudreuil area saw many lecompte of the "LAFLEUR" Branch...as in Lecompte aka Lafleur.......this wud be ur best area for a successful search.......by the way the ancestor to that branch was one Pierre Lecompte dit La fleur...who came from St-Malo in Brittany France......arrive in Montreal (then Ville-Marie) around 1703 andf after his military service (under a contract) married one Suzanne Capelle-Desjardins.......had 4 sons and 3 daughters..
