Unfortunately, I have nothing in my notes for Mary Elizabeth & Washington, but would like to learn more.
I see many Rumbley family entries at http://members.tripod.com/~dcgm/obitindexR.html. I presume some of these are descendants of the Washington Rumbley and Mary Elizabeth LeCompte that you mention. And I see an index for the marriage record you mention at http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/md/dorchester/vitals/marriages/malemar-ps.txt, where Washington's name is misspelled (I assume) as "Rumby".
