Updated Info: James LeCompte’s father may have been Nehemiah LeCompte, born abt. 1785 & married to Betsy Owens on 06 Jan 1807. I know he is not tied to the Nehemiah who was the first son of Anthony, fourth son of Antoine because that line died off in the mid to late 1700’s
