Bonjour Yvon,

Mon français n'est pas si pire. Je peux parler et lire bien mieux que je peux écrire.

I will have to confess.. I can't take credit for all of the research... After my father Fern LeClerc passed away in 1993 at the age of 56 .. I began asking his family questions about our ancestors ...
My fathers older brother Rolly .. put me in touch with Doris LeClerc Ball .. Doris' father was Valmore .. my grandfather Ovila's brother.
Doris is responsible for the amazing research..

You are correct that Berthe and Ferdinand were both born in Hull .. and Ferdinand was the baby of the family..

None of Ovila's children are settled in the Ottawa area.. Of the nine children only 4 are still living .. The last nine years have not been kind to the LeClerc's.. Two are settled in Kirkland Lake and two are in Sarnia, Ontario.

I have started a Family LeClerc website .. that is password protected ..
It is new.. but there is quite a bit of information.. If you are interested in taking a look .. please let me know and I will send you an invite.
I will need your e-mail address.

I have very little information on the Caillé line and would greatly appreciate receiving this information..

My e-mail is ..

Reading your message was truly amazing .. to be in contact with someone who knew the family that my father so fondly spoke of and that I have no personal memories of..

Thank you.. cousin!

Keep in Touch
