Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Louis I can't even find my fathers birth certificate or record of birth when i search archives and I know all his info VICTOR JOSEPH LeBlANC b May 6 1931 in St John NB. Not even sure if these are my grandparents. My Grandmother died around 1940 and grandfather died in Ontario around 1952. I can't even prove my father existed or my grandfather died when i go into archives. Is there a geneology monopoly out there to pay for searches. BeFUFFLED
