Alonzo LeBaron/Malinda Angeline Shepherd Dyer
After a 15 year break, I've re-opened some problem files. I have a letter from Lola Hutchings, to Mr. LeGrand L. Baker in Provodated Utah 1975, discussing the life of Alonzo LeBaron. He had deserted his family, went to England, married another, professed a desire to join the Mormon church, which he did. This letter also states that it is believed he had a third wife. I believe this third wife is Malinda Angeline Shepherd Dyer LeBaron.
I have the obituary of Malinda whose last name is stated as LeBaron and an application from her daughter to the Five Civilized Tribes stating her mother's name was LeBaron. The obituary of Malinda states that her son Thomas Dyer was present at the time of her death. Thomas and Alonzo both worked on the temple in Utah. I have a photo of her with an unidentified man, possibly Alonzo. Alonzo and Malinda are not buried besides one another, died in 1891, she died in 1897. Does anyone know something of this? Thanks.
