My mother's maiden name was Saleeby and my grandfather was Dr Caleb Williams Saleeby(1878-1940 the son of Ilyas Salibi of Brummana, Lebanon so I belong to the English branch of the family. I think Ilyas taught at the Quaker school in Brummana. Dr Caleb was a medical writer.
